WCCSD 3v3 League
The WCCSD 3v3 league has become a favorite for players and parents alike. The WCCSD stands for "Winter Club Competitive Skill Drills" and was a work around to the COVID guidelines stating teams were not allowed to play games. If you look closely at the jerseys you'll see a player helmet with a mask on. Thankfully COVID is in the rearview mirror and the 3v3 league lives on providing our players with additional ice, fun competition and countless puck touches to increase development.
**Players will receive jerseys at their first 3v3 game**
Rules:
*Games will consist of two, twenty minute, run-time periods.
*Goalies will be utilized if they're available. If not we'll be using the pond hockey nets. If we have one goalie available, the goalie will play one half of the 3v3 game for each team so both teams get the opportunity to shoot on a goalie.
*Penalties will result in "Live" penalty shots
*Mites will be divided up into two divisions. Mite Blue and Gold will play each other weekly, these are all Mite Green players. Mite Yellow, Purple, Red, and Orange consist of Mite black and Mite White players in their own 4 team division.
Teams will earn two points for a win, one point for a tie. The standings will be kept below and be utilized to set the Championship games on 2/24 and 2/25.
